Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on sierrafondo.com, for what purpose and how you can manage them through Google Consent Mode v2.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device when you visit it. They are used to remember preferences, measure site usage and, when you allow it, personalize content and ads.
2. Categories we use
We use four categories: (a) strictly necessary, (b) functional, (c) analytics and (d) advertising & personalization. You can enable or disable them independently from the cookie banner.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with denied defaults. This means ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage signals start as 'denied' and only switch to 'granted' when you accept the corresponding categories. We also enable ads_data_redaction=true and url_passthrough=true to reduce data exchange with Google prior to consent.
4. Google Ads tag (AW-18064110603)
We load the Google Ads tag after initializing the consent system. Without consent, the tag respects the 'denied' state and does not enable advertising use of your data.
5. How to manage your preferences
You can change your decision at any time by reopening the cookie banner from the footer, or by clearing your browser's local storage. If you do, the banner will reappear.
6. Third parties
The main third party is Google (Google Ads and, if enabled, Google Analytics 4). Google processes data according to its own policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
7. Retention
Your consent record is stored in localStorage for up to 12 months. After that period, or if you clear your browser storage, you will be asked for consent again.
8. Contact
